Building Capacity for Regional Renewal
The Capacity Building Initiative of the Raymond John Wean Foundation began in mid-2007 and became fully operational in 2008. Its ultimate aim is to see the Mahoning Valley of northeast Ohio become a healthy place to live, work and raise families: known for equity, innovation and collaboration with robust civic life, honest and visionary politics, and a dynamic and diversified economy with a good range of jobs and safe, attractive neighborhoods.
